Writing, dreaming

My main project right now is The Annihilation of Satine (Satine 4). It’s taking a long time for such a short book, though I’m almost tempted to say it’s because it’s a short book that it’s taking so long.

No room for wordvomit, and at this point in Satine and Kensington’s trajectory, we need to keep the tension up the whole way through. That, ultimately, is why Satine 3 came out in April and now a million internet years are passing Satine 4 is still not done 😅 At this rate we may be looking at October/November instead.

In the background, I’m noodling on Basilica, casually researching for Project Orellia, and stewing over the final act of Sunset on a Distant World.
